The update - Added or updated in the last year: • More than 1 million miles of roads • More than 250,000 points of interest, such as hotels and ATMs • More than 7.5 million other data points, including speed limits, street names and addresses Stick with Garmin GPS that have free lifetime map update. I think I also read that you can activate that screen with VCDS and I think the information is also available after a scan of the car with VCDS.
I am getting an e-tune and needed to load their map, so I connected my AP to my computer via usb. I was able to update the firmware after cancelling the installation, disconnecting the AP (I forgot to eject and that worried me, also), and then redoing the update. A possible solution could be for a 10 or more members who live near each other get together, chip in each and purchase one map update and share the disk.Cobb AP manager has now been stuck on "Waiting for Accessport to Reboot" for almost 1 hour. I'm not sure if I should click the cancel button or wait it up. Thanks EDIT: I went ahead and clicked cancel and retried the udpate.
And then there is no letter assigned to virtual drives, neither is any virtual drives in "My computer".
